COVID-19 Employee Time

One of Beyond Vision’s seven core values is SAFETY. As we continue operations, here are a few measures we have taken to ensure employee health and safety:

• Encourage work from home when possible.
• Created up to 10 days of “emergency paid time off” to encourage employees who are sick or among the high risk categories to stay home.
• Split up lunch breaks to encourage social distancing
• Remain in consistent communication with Milwaukee County Transit System and paratransit services.

Following recommendations from the CDC that employers temporarily modify attendance, sick or paid time off policies during this time, Beyond Vision has taken measures to protect our employees. We have created an interim “emergency paid time off” policy. Instead of employees having to use their PTO or taking days unpaid, we are providing up to 10 days of emergency PTO. This will allow employees to take the time they need to stay safe and healthy.
