DeLonna was nominated for The Peter J. Salmon Employee of the Year Award. The award honors employees who excel in their positions in NIB agencies.

DeLonna was introduced to Beyond Vision when she began researching locations where she could fulfill volunteer hours for a Human Service class DeLonna was taking at Milwaukee Area Technical College.  It was 2015 and she had begun significantly losing her sight after being diagnosed with Uveitis and Sarcoidosis in 1999.  At the time she truly believed that she would no longer have any independence but wanted to learn how life might be after losing her vision.

DeLonna’s current role at Beyond Vision is Customer Care Center Team Lead.  She assists in daily operations of the team, assisting with reporting, payroll, and invoicing. DeLonna is also the customer service representative for the Assembly and Packaging department for which she processes purchase orders and communicates/assists customers with their questions and concerns.  Her efforts have quickly made a great impact on our communication with our commercial customers.
