Kerlin Announces Retirement from Beyond Vision –
Milwaukee, WI. February 5, 2024: After nearly two decades of service to the blindness community, James Kerlin has announced plans to retire from his role as President and CEO of Beyond Vision this summer.

Prior to joining Beyond Vision, Kerlin built a strong background in manufacturing, business management and engineering at various companies including consulting and running his own business.

“Jim’s been a great leader over the past 18 years and he will be greatly missed by employees and associates,” said Mike Chew, Chair of Beyond Vision’s Board of Directors.

Kerlin took the position in 2007. During his tenure, the organization has experienced great growth and many changes. Most recently with the organization’s move to the VisABILITY Center in 2022.

“We are currently looking for a new President/CEO,” said Chew. “Someone who will make a smooth transition and will continue the growth of Beyond Vision’s mission.”
