The Communication Center is Wiscraft’s newest business unit, and the past year has brought great change as well as great opportunity! Through generous donations from several foundations Wiscraft was able to outfit its communication center with a state-of-the-art IWATSU phone system as well as an advanced data analytics package. This system gives us the technical capabilities to perform even the most complex of call operations while reporting on all of the critical elements required to manage an efficient and effective contact center. In short – it provides new opportunities for individuals who are blind while providing our customers with the quality and service they expect.
The Communication Center opened with one customer – our sister agency Associated Industries for the Blind. In less than a year of operation, we’re proud to report we have serviced four customers in a variety of capacities including business development, customer order follow up, database verification, and direct-mail follow up. As our Communication Center business development continues in the near future, we anticipate doubling our customer base as well as adding significantly to our customer service representative staff.
