Five years ago, Tony Creapeau’s story at Beyond Vision started. Like most, Tony began with QPS employment as a Temp Call Center Agent. However, nine months later, Tony was brought on board full-time. After being brought on full-time, Tony excelled in the company and worked his way into his current role as Beyond Vision’s IT Technician.

Tony has years of knowledge. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Management Computers Systems from the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE). Aside from this personal accomplishment, Tony has countless professional achievements. However, one of Tony’s most significant achievements is being the first blind individual to be a part of Beyond Vision’s IT Team. This accomplishment was not only great for Tony, but it also showed many other individuals who are blind that people with vision loss can do anything they have their hearts set on.

A couple of things Tony values about Beyond Vision are the variety of different people, especially the ones who make the work culture and mission a great place. Tony also believes that there is a strong culture at Beyond Vision of giving everyone opportunities to learn and advance.

A few fun facts about Tony are that for 11 years and counting, Tony has both played the guitar and recorded his own music. Tony enjoys listening to all sorts of music, reading motivational and personal growth books, and playing around with computer programming.

From the many motivational and personal growth books that Tony has read, he reflects on the quote, “when two horses pull a load together, they don’t just pull 16,000 pounds combined. The team can pull 22,000 pounds. When they train together and pull together, they can pull up to 32,000 pounds.” (Sweeney, J.) Tony breaks down this quote by stating, “We can move mountains if we work as a team. If people are trained to work together and pull in the same direction, there is nothing that cannot be accomplished.”

Tony’s work ethic, dedication, and journey highlight Beyond Vision’s focus on upward mobility. Thank you, Tony, for all your hard work at Beyond Vision!
