Beyond Vision

Staffing Changes January 2022

Beyond Vision Team,

We are pleased to announce that Stacy Fuehrer, our current Customer Service Representative supporting customers in both commercial and government business units, has been promoted to Administrative Assistant.  This position reports directly to me and fills the role previously held by Lani Knutson.  Stacy is our 2022 nominee for the NIB/NAEPB Samuelson Career Achievement Award.  She has been in her role for over two years and has done an exceptional job.    She was the first screen reader user we were able to hire into a role like this because of our adoption of NetSuite as our ERP.  Every day she proves that with the right tools, talent, and motivation a person who is blind or visually impaired can perform exceptionally in a role which we previously thought could only be done by a fully sighted person.    She is a great example of our RUNWAY metaphor….Beyond Vision is both a place to land, and a place to take off in their career.

Regarding Stacy’s CSR role, we will be modifying the position.  In addition to customer service for commercial and government customers, it will also focus on inside sales.  We hope that this additional focus will allow us to maximize our sales potential with existing customers.  Linda Hapka will move into this role.  Linda has been with us for over 7 years in a sales role.  During that time, she has developed a reputation for going the extra mile for our customers.  Every customer that she has supported is delighted with her customer service.  Linda’s “customer first” mindset is a model to us all.  Her strong networking skills has led to many tours and new relationships.  We think she will do an outstanding job in this upgraded position.   She will report directly to Diana Voigt.  Her new title will be Customer Service & Inside Sales Professional.
