COVID Still Here

Beyond Vision Team,

There is a humorous post going around social media.  It basically says, “Why Do I Have To Celebrate Halloween?  I’ve Been Wearing a Mask and Eating Candy Since March!”  This is a friendly reminder to us all that COVID is still here.  And in many states where we operate, we have seen increased cases, hospitalizations, and deaths.  Again, we have done a great job at Beyond Vision in managing and respecting this situation.  A quick reminder to us all about masks.

  • At Beyond Vision, masks should be worn at all times in our manufacturing environments.
  • In office environments, you do not need to wear a mask at your work station or office.  But,  if you get up to walk somewhere, you should be wearing a mask.  Even if it is for a short period of time.
  • All visitors and guests need to follow our protocols.
  • You do not have to wear a mask in a common area if you are eating.
  • If you can socially distance in a room meeting with others, you do not need to wear a mask.  If you are not sure, wear a mask anyway.
  • Wear the mask properly.  It should be covering your mouth and nose.
  • If you need a mask(s), ask for them.  We have plenty.

One of my favorite authors is Jim Collins.  From his book, Good to Great,  is one of my favorite quotes.  It is “The purpose of bureaucracy is to compensate for incompetence and lack of discipline.”  I am grateful to our entire team that we have approached this COVID crisis with competence and discipline.  And that we have not had to implement a police state to ensure our practices are followed.  Keep it up.  You are all amazing!

Trick or Treat,

Rob
