Customer Care Specialist – Desktop Delivery

Coast Guard Island, Alameda, CA.

We are seeking an outgoing, care-oriented representative to help us serve the in-store and online shoppers of our Base Supply Store at Coast Guard Island, Alameda, CA. This person will assist with all aspects of customer service, research and provide quotes, perform cashier duties, process incoming and outgoing shipments, and provide desktop delivery to customers around the base. This is a great opportunity to learn how to run a store and exceed the needs of our wonderful military customers!

We Require:

  • Customer service experience in a retail environment. A track record of providing service that exceeds customer expectations.
  • Experience working with a computer-based cash register.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to research and create quotes, review orders, and enter information at the highest level of accuracy.
  • The ability to lift to 50 pounds several times throughout the day.
  • Ability to provide desktop delivery of items around the Base using a hand truck.
  • A commitment to furthering our mission of increased employment and opportunity for people who are blind or visually impaired.
