The Manufacturing Engineer develops and sustains manufacturing processes in our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in West Allis. In this role, you will lead the investigation, justification, and implementation of new manufacturing processes that achieve quality and throughput. During this job you will be responsible for working creatively and hands-on to ensure all processes are LEAN and 100 percent accessible to a workforce with blindness/vision impairment and other disabilities.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Define and lead the implementation of new processes and improvements to existing processes.
  • Assure sound engineering and validation principles are applied to process design.
  • Ensure that processes are accessible to a workforce that is blind/visually impaired and may have other physical restrictions.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications and ensure process designs will meet customer and ISO standards requirements.

 

We Require:

  • A passion and commitment to fulfilling our mission and vision.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in manufacturing process engineering.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering.
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks, and DraftSight/AutoCAD.
  • Successful track record in developing effective processes. 
  • A commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to develop effective relationships in a multidisciplinary team environment.
