Although some progress has been made, the underemployment of Americans with disabilities continues to be a problem even in this day and age. Beyond Vision is creating employment and opportunity for people who are blind or visually impaired through our manufacturing facility and our base-supply centers nationwide. We are seeking an outgoing, care-oriented representative to provide friendly, efficient service to the in-store and online shoppers of our Base Supply store at the Naval Training Center in Great Lakes, IL. This person will assist with all aspects of customer service, perform cashier and stock duties, and process incoming and outgoing shipments.

 

We Require:

  • Customer service experience in a retail environment. A track record of providing service that exceeds customer expectations.
  • Experience working with a computer-based cash register.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to research and creat quotes, review orders, and enter information at the highest level of accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills working with e-mail and an ERP system.
