70% of working-age, legally blind Americans are not working. Beyond Vision creates employment for people who are blind by providing work at our manufacturing, service, and military supply operations in Milwaukee, WI and nationwide. We are seeking a buyer to help meet the growing procurement needs of all of these programs.

The Buyer will work within allowed costs, schedules, and other set guidelines to price, order, and track delivery of requested materials and to expedite delivery whenever necessary. He or she will maintain accurate records and communicate all relevant information throughout the procurement process.

 

Required Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Experience in the purchasing field. (Manufacturing preferred with inventory control experience a plus)
  • Federal Contract or Federal business-related experience preferred.
  • Proven experience in customer service.
  • Experience with relevant software applications such as ERPs like NetSuite preferred.
    • Excel proficiency required.
  • Knowledge of commercial furniture preferred.
