BUYER – (Milwaukee, WI)

70% of working-age, legally blind Americans are not working. Beyond Vision creates employment for people who are blind by providing work at our manufacturing, service, and military supply operations in Milwaukee, WI and nationwide. We are seeking a buyer to help meet the growing procurement needs of all programs.

The Buyer will work within allowed costs, schedules, and other set guidelines to price, order, and track delivery of requested materials and to expedite delivery whenever necessary. He or she will maintain accurate records and communicate all relevant information throughout the procurement process.

We Require:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in customer service, purchasing, or a related administrative role.
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and effectively problem solve
  • Experience in the purchasing field. (Manufacturing inventory control experience a plus)
  • Federal Contract experience and/or knowledge of commercial furniture a plus.
  • Strong computer skills specifically in the use of Excel and ERP systems. Ability to learn and leverage a variety of software.
