In 2007, we began work on our next product to offer our federal government customers. The product, called the Privacy Shield, allows only the person directly in front of a computer screen to view it. Imagine looking through a window that has vertical blinds. If the blinds are open as wide as possible you can see through while standing directly in front, but once you step to the side your view becomes obstructed. The Privacy Shield helps its user maintain security and privacy by preventing viewing by others.

To produce them efficiently at low cost we purchased a laser cutting table that can cut to size, etch a part number and a recycle logo in 75 seconds. For even more efficiency, the operator packages a finished shield while the laser is processing the next one.
Since launch, the Privacy Shields have been an overwhelming success. We are producing almost 50% more than forecasted! In addition, the operators in production are operating at an average of 125% efficiency.
We also have two more notebook computer sizes and a complete line of Privacy Shields for cell phones under development. The goal for the product line is to reach into the commercial marketplace in order to further increase sales and employment opportunities.
